Quotes
A quote is based on availability when it is written. Rooms and seats are not held until a deposit is received and confirmed, and prices can change until then.
Deposits and payment
Your booking is confirmed when we receive the deposit stated in your quote and send written confirmation. The balance is due by the date on your invoice. If it is not paid on time, we may cancel the booking and apply the charges below.
What is included
Your package includes only the services listed in your written confirmation. International flights are included only when stated.
Changes
We will try to accommodate changes to dates, names, hotels or rooms. Changes depend on availability and may carry supplier charges, which we pass on without markup.
Cancellations
Cancellations must be made in writing. Charges depend on how close to departure you cancel and on the terms of the hotels and airlines booked, as stated in your quote. Visa fees are not refundable once applied for.
Changes by suppliers or authorities
If a hotel becomes unavailable, we will offer one of an equal or higher standard. If Saudi authorities suspend Umrah visas or entry, we will pass on every refund we recover from suppliers.
Passports, visas and entry
You are responsible for a passport valid for at least six months from arrival and for accurate visa information. Visa decisions are made by the Saudi authorities. Non-US citizens should confirm their US re-entry documents before traveling.
Health
You are responsible for meeting health requirements, including the meningitis ACWY vaccination, and for being fit to travel. We strongly recommend travel medical insurance.
Permits
Umrah and Rawdah permits are issued through Nusuk. We help you book them, but availability is controlled by the Saudi authorities.
Our responsibility
We arrange the services in your confirmation with reasonable care. We are not responsible for events outside our control, such as weather, strikes, airline schedule changes, government decisions or crowd management at the holy mosques.
Complaints
If something is wrong during your trip, tell us straight away so we can fix it while you are there. After you return, write to info@alsalaamtravels.com.
